Did you know that the Palestine Centre in Adelaide has one of Australia's largest collections of books on Palestine?
And within that, we have Australia's ONLY collection of specialist books from PASSIA - the Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs, Jerusalem.
The PASSIA book collection contains many specialist studies on both political and cultural subjects. There's in-depth studies of the geopolitical context of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict; studies of the local political and economic context in Palestine, examining such issues as water, land, non-violent resistance, women, education policy, the judiciary, the security sector, and municipal policy in Jerusalem; and books on the cultural context such as the Muslim and Christian holy places in Jerusalem.
And the 8-volume Documents on Palestine is a must for those seeking the primary source statements, documents, and resolutions relating to the Palestine Question as they have evolved throughout history, covering the period from the Pre-Ottoman/Ottoman Era until the Annapolis Conference in late 2007.
For students, specialists and those who'd like to delve deeper into the Question of Palestine, we hope you enjoy our PASSIA Collection.
