Hand-painted ceramic plate, for sharing food leftovers with the birds.

STORY

One third of the food produced for human consumption ends up being thrown away. We should bear a greater responsibility towards life on this earth. Why can’t we be as generous as nature? These plates are for sharing our food with the birds that chirp and sing for us.

The designer of this plate, Maher Shaheen, wants to remind us of what Mother Teresa once said: “If we are only interested in our own needs, we will neglect the needs of others.”
